I've been busy mainly with work and it's just gonna get busier since the holidays are coming. :(

I did do some stamping recently (had a friend over & her daughters has wanted to stamp).

I've Been Very Busy :(

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything lately. I've been very busy and lost track of time. Too much work ... I'm so glad that next week i'm on vacation. :)
I haven't done much stamping lately, but in an earlier post I mentioned my first workshop. I finally fixed the pics to let you see what we did.

I had fun this last Thursday. I held my 2nd ever workshop and this time we did nameframes. Here are a couple of pictures that my customers did. I had 8 people total.

Ok.....obviously my blog doesn't want pictures on it! I've tried just uploading them from my picture file and i've tried to use picasa2 (which is what blogger suggested) and it shows up but next time it's just an X.

I will try and get it fixed :(

My 1st Workshop

I did my very first workshop here about a week ago. I had a blast once I got over my nerves..lol This is what we did, I got this idea from off of SCS. I can't remember the name right now.

This is one of the projects I tried to write the instructions down since I had (have) no printer at the time and tried to do. I missed it up and this is what I came up with. :)

I gave this as a thank you to my son's first grade teacher. I hadn't realized how much she had helped my son until they're awards ceremony. Not only did my son get 3 medals (completing all math facts- which he made A's on all year, meeting all AR goals- he read at least 75 books throughout the year, and roadrunner-he completed his running in athletics) BUT just about EVERY kid in her class did it also.

Today I got all my workshop paper cut, but before I quit I felt I really needed to finish something so I did Beate's Challenge. In the morning I'm going to have to fix my sample for the workshop Tuesday.

I'm not sure how I like this card, but I guess it came out ok :)

UGH! Too Busy!

I know that i've note posted on here recently, but i've been real busy and about to get busier.

I've got a workshop on Tuesday and I had very short notice about when it was going to happen so I had to overnight an order for today. I work today and tomorrow so I'm going to have to do all the prep work on Sunday as well as stamp my sons Teacher thank you gift. I would also like to do some RAK's and some Christmas cards to see if I like the design I made for the Christmas in July Stamp-a-Stack.

I'll try and post some pics sometime Sunday of what I get done :)

Did some more stamping yesterday. I made a set of 8 cards and a post-it note holder that I plan on giving to my sons teacher. Today I plan to stamp some more in between laundry.

I did some stamping yesterday. I am posting the card here, but it looks a lot better in person (I don't like my camera....it's a cheap digital right now but hoping to get a better one soon).

Retiring Stamps

I've finally went through all my SU stamps and got all the retiring sets together. I now have around 33 sets that I can't use as a demo after July.

The only ones I'm sad to see go really are Roses in Winter and Bold Butterflies.

Hooray! I've got my computer moved, but now i've gotta fix my printer. :(

I've also got a template for 1 portion of my workshop. Now i've got to do the other 2. :)

New Blog!

Hey! I've started a new blog and hopefully I'll be able to type on it regularly. :)

I'm going to try and start demoing projects every month. Next month I hope to do a class/workshop for scrapbooking. I plan to do a scrapbox (found on Splitcoast), a card with a picture, and faux metal scrapbook medallion.

I'm hoping to do a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack in July.
